Yes, the oldest child of Will and Jada is officially over his Kardashian dalliance and has moved on to greener pastures. It seems he has settled down with another woman named Sarah Snyder.

The two got some major attention in 2015 while cuddling up at a show during New York Fashion Week, and they're still going strong a year later.

 Just like his sister, Willow, Smith seems to prefer the company of those older than him. There are conflicting reports on her age, but according to her Explore Talent modeling profile, Snyder is 21 years old, which basically means that she can drink (legally), while the 17-year-old Smith cannot.

NOT AGAIN! ASUU TO COMMENCE A WARNING STRIKE ON OCTOBER 2ND

 

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) said on Monday that it would commence a warning strike on October 2.

A statement signed by Ben Ugheoke, the Chairman, University of Abuja chapter of ASUU, stated that the Federal Government had failed to embark on meaningful dialogue with the union.

“We have tried to dialogue with the Federal Government but they have been playing games with us; we will start with a warning strike to show them we are not jokers.

ASUU has being trying to get the attention of the Federal Government to intervene in the academic system of universities across Nigeria but it has all been abortive.

Consequently, ASUU will give a warning strike which will start on October 2nd.

The strike will last for one week, and if they do not give us listening ears, we will start the indefinite strike in November,” Ugheoke said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that ASUU, had at a recent news briefing accused the Federal Government of reneging on the 2009 agreement with the union.

ASUU’s Coordinator, Abuja Zone, Dr. Theophilus Lagi, also said in the statement that the government had only implemented 30 per cent of the provisions of Universities Needs Assessment document.

He said that the fund was disbursed indiscriminately to university councils as a fall out of the six months industrial action the union embarked upon in 2009.

Lagi urged the Federal Government to fully implement the 2009 agreement it reached with the union in order to avert another industrial action by the nation’s public universities.

Gospel Singer Israel Houghton found love in his best friend after he ended a 20 year marriage (see story here).

 Himself and fiancee Adrienne Bailon talked about how their journey from friends to soon-to-be married happened on a chat with People magazine.

Adrienne says

“When he got officially divorced and started dating again, I immediately started to set him up with my friends. He didn’t think they’d want to go out with him but I told him, ‘Don’t be silly. You have a great smile, you’re successful, you’re kind, super witty, funny and smart. Of course they’ll go out with you.’ After one of the dates, I asked my friend, ‘What do you think?’ And she was, like, ‘He’s just not my type’. I was so offended. I was like, ‘What do you mean he’s not your type? He’s got dimples! He’s got the best smile, brows of a god, his skin basically glows and he plays mad instruments. It doesn’t get any better than that!’ Her response was, ‘Why don’t you date him?!’ A while later, we were sitting in the corner together at a party and a friend of ours came up and said, ‘You guys have old love.'”

Israel adds “We both heard that, and it had impact on us. That was such a special choice of words, and I felt it was correct. I felt a connection to her that I still can’t define.”

According to Adrienne, “My friend told me, ‘You have to kiss him. You can just be friends, but you’ll know if it’s meant to be more the moment you kiss him,’ and now we’re getting married, so you can see how that kiss went.” 

Talking about the media storm they had to weather so early in their relationship, Israel says, “We were in Mexico and she got the call that the paparazzi had photos of us together. It turned into a day and a half of us deleting comments and blocking people on Instagram. There were multiple times I turned to her and said, ‘You can walk away if this isn’t worth it to you.’”

ROB KARDASHIAN AND BLAC CHYNA ARE EXPECTING A BABY GIRL

Reality TV star Rob Kardashian and his wife to be Blac Chyna have confirmed the sex of their baby they are having a baby girl.

They did this during last night’s premiere of Rob & Chyna when pregnant Chyna and Rob made a doctor’s appointment to find out the sex of their baby. Rob said he was pretty nervous and he wanted to have a boy but the doctor announced that they are having a girl.

Rob then said in a confessional that it was an emotional moment.  Wanting to have a boy stems from his dad but he is sure he'll have the same relationship that he had with his father with his daughter.

He expressed his happiness for the baby's health.

STORY: MY CHUBBY LIFE BY WINIFRED

 
I always wondered what it felt like to be fat. At some point in my life being fat was my ultimate goal. I still remember when I was five, I'll wear double clothings underneath my school uniform just to look like the other chubby kids in class, lol, but little did I know that my exposed tiny legs and arms told the world what a pretty little liar I was.  I had to stop padding when the bullies of the class took note and had the best time of their little lives making fun of me. But oh well, I was just a kid, I wasn't so desperate.

    Growing up, the love for chubby looks never really died. It got worse when camera phones became a thing to have, I couldn't stand seeing myself when I took pictures. I always felt like the thinnest girl in the world. Even my boyfriend then hoped I'd add some flesh some day. lol. It wasn't like it was so bad but everyone around me just effortlessly grew chubby. I tried different tricks in the book. I tried taking pills and portions but it never worked. My friends looked older than me and my juniors looked like my seniors so I had to make an extra effort to act mature. Infact I was going down the depression lane because people made fun of me for being so skinny, I became very sensitive and quiet defensive with endless cases of insecurity. The whole world watched their weight. I wanted to know what it felt like to watch my weight. The more I craved for that chubby look, the more my clothes remained my size. Mtchew!

   Years went by and I slowly outgrew the crave for chubby looks. The turn around started when chubby girls wanted to trim up. Chubby girls admired my flat tummy and they invested time and money to have what I almost lost. It was now the other way round. Chubby girls felt more attractive with the slimmer look. Lol.     I didn't even know how I was supposed to feel. I now began to wonder why I went through all that trouble to try and gain the weight most people are rejecting now.

      Lord knows what will be the next body size trend. But all I know is I'm a happy girl. Free from the shackles of body size depression. I'm not as skinny anymore and I'm far from chubby. My point is, thin, chubby, tall or short we are all beautiful the way we are. But if that beauty doesn't start from within us, the world won't see it too.
